The Perfect After-School or Summer School Algebra Readiness Program

You Can Be Algebra Ready is a research-based intervention program that helps students master fundamental mathematics and prepares them for algebra and geometry. The 36 lessons (in two 18-lesson parts) offer a sequential, focused strategy that covers National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards and promotes student success through problem solving. These problem-solving activities and word problems help reinforce concepts and retention. Diagnostic assessment and observation reflect learned skills and pinpoint areas requiring additional attention.

• Part 2 offers prealgebra practice, including the use of variables, expressions, and equations
